Baoting, Hainan Showcases at the UN Climate Change Conference in Belém: Sharing County-Level Practices in Green, Low-Carbon, and Sustainable Development

The 30th Conference of the Parties (COP30) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is being held in Belém, the capital of Pará State, Brazil, from November 10 to 21, 2025. At the invitation of the UNFCCC Secretariat and China’s Ministry of Ecology and Environment, Mu Kerei, Party Secretary of Baoting Li and Miao Autonomous County in Hainan Province, attended and delivered a speech at the COP30 China Pavilion side event on “Building Green, Low-Carbon, and Beautiful Cities” on the morning of November 17 (local time).
